I would like to see more classes offered mid-afternoon, such as 3:30 or 4:00 PM. This schedule would work better for educators.

The Tri City Fitness Challenge has jumpstarted my journey back from a difficult pregnancy. The trainers are so supportive and I like that there are classes available to you at various times every day. Its nice to try new things=0)

Wouldn't change a thing. Maybe have the lectures be available via Net Meeting so people can attend easier?

~I'm really enjoying your challenge this year, and I'm much more motivated then last  After a too big weight loss 1st week and a 1 pd gain last week I feel I now have the jest of your program: individual self-health with a gradual reduction in weight that you can maintain on your own. i have been apart of other programs that are shorter and promote quicker weight reduction, with a team approach, I have found this doesn't work for me and the weight has always gradually returned. So I am looking forward to the next 10 weeks with a goal of hopefully a 1 pd. loss a week , but more importantly finding a good balance that I can maintain after this is over. So I thank you for the efforts you have put in to develop this program.
~Things have been going really well for me.  I have attended  8 classes + the nutrition course so far.  I have really enjoyed the change of exercise and I like meeting the new folks in the classes.  Everyone has been awesome.
 Thank you for organizing this program.  I think it’s wonderful and you can’t find a better , more supportive deal in town.


Please share your experience: Before meeting Ida, I had joined a gym. Hated it as I was not able to adjust the equipment to fit me. I joined Ida and had wonderful workouts until my arthritis progressed. Ida showed me modifications that work for me. I enjoy the atmosphere and the interaction with other people. I may sit in a chair while working out and I feel when I get up to leave I have experienced a good workout and my mood and body feel lighter and alive.
What would you like to see added to this program next year?
I cannot think of anything

I enjoy the music even though some of the artists I never heard of! The instructors are great even though they may be shy when they have to do warm-ups! I have enjoyed the lectures and workshops that I have attended as they confirmed my thoughts and actions.

  •  Mood:  I feel ALIVE!!!  My husband loves the 'new me' and comments how much funner I am and I am not just a blob in the chair anymore.
  • Stamina:  I can work in the garden for 3 or 4 hours, something I don't ever remember doing.  I watch my sister struggle with her daily activities of living and I can't help but think "she needs Ida..." 
  • Sleeping:  I sleep better.  Deeper, sounder, I feel like I am getting a full night's sleep. 
  • Weight Loss:  Not as much as I would like, 15 lb, but people are commenting that I look like I have lost a lot more.  I can feel muscles in my legs, and curves on my arms.  I SEE body changes.
  • My thoughts on exercise:  A long time ago I loved exercising, then stopped and started to dread it, now I look forward to doing it again, Ida, YOU make it fun and you change up the routines to make them interesting, new, and fresh.  Being in your program has enabled me to STICK with it, I've been trying for years to stick with it like I used, but have been unable to make myself do it until you.  :)
  •   I am here at work and just read your email to our team...  You are so good to people and so encouraging and you keep us ALL motivated...there should be more people like you in this world...thank you for everything you do and everything you stand for.  As Tina Turner would say you are 'SIMPLY THE BEST'!!!!!
  •  I have never liked exercise, of any sort, it has always been something I force myself to do...until Ida's classes! My friend and I talked each other into trying one class, and were instantly hooked, and now if we have to miss a class (usually for work) we grumble and whine until the next class! I used to be exhausted after a day at work, and always sat on the couch to relax before dinner. Now we either have a class after work, or I can go home and now have lots more energy and don't really get tired until bed time. I can get a lot more done, and don't even get tired after a busy work day. I have also noticed that I can climb a couple of flights of stairs without getting winded. I am definitely an Ida Fan!!!
  • This program has changed my life! Not only have I lost 2 dress sizes, but also have more energy! I no longer need my nap after work, and I can keep up with the kids. I have a new confidence and outlook on life. A regular gym membership didn’t work for me. Ida makes her classes exciting and motivating. I love the various mix of workouts that she introduces to us. I actually look forward to working out now. :)

  •   This was a fun experience and adventure.  I enjoyed the classes! 
  •   I LOVED disco night....I have to tell you, I did not feel the greatest on Wednesday and really, really wanted to skip the class but I am really anal about having perfect attendance (so this next week thing is going to kill me where I have to pick a day and I can't go every day....).  So because I have to have perfect attendance I still went.  And THANK GOD you played disco!!!!!!  I loved 80s music  It just totally changed my mood and I felt so much better almost right away and was able to get my brain wrapped around the music and get into it.....so thank you for that.....you must have read my mind and knew what I needed that day!   And also, I know I joke around a lot with you about 'killing me' but I am thankful that you have this challenge and that I was able to be part of it.  I am doing the best I have EVER done in I don't know how many years!!!!!  Maybe 15 - 18????  Yeah, a LONG time.  So I am very thankful that you are pushing me to excel and do well.
